Today we pushed an update to fix the all games list UI. At first glance it seems to be hard to navigate and honestly ugly. So we set out to fix that. All games from now on should have a corresponding icon displaying a preview of that game, making the all games list look much prettier and organized. A lot of captions and alignments were also fixed up, to mention a few minor updates. Mostly this update revolved around the all games list, however, we managed to do a good but of cleanup as we saw necessary (typos, uncentered elements, broken links, poor performing games, etc.). We're hoping this UI improvement and cleanup helps drastically with appearance and navigation. Also, you may have noticed the new donate button in the navigation bar and footer. No one is in any way obligated to donate to Soggy Potato Games, however, every donation is greatly appreciated as it helps us further improve the quality and running cost of SPG. If you feel like we've helped keep you not bored during class or you're just feeling generous, please drop us a donation! We accept all major credit/debit cards and PayPal! Stay tuned for more on The Potato Update and keep gamin!

On todays Potato Update, as the title suggests, we will talk about organization and SEO. Today we worked on better organization and structure of Soggy Potato Games. While this may seem irrelevant, this actually helps us better SPG in a faster manner. Also, this betters what is called our SEO, or Search Engine Optimization. This means that we are working towards making SPG the top result in google for any of our flash games. This Organization and SEO, while tedious, is mandatory and will allow us to further update and grow SPG faster in the future. You might've also already noticed some of our new organization on the All Games list. We alphabetized the list so as to make navigation easier and also cleaner and we also increased the window size for all games and fixed other cosmetic issues. We will continue with our SEO work and then afterwards we should see a significant theme change to the All Games list.
We are currently in the works of further improving SPG. So far we've made a few UI and navigation adjustments along with the addition of this updates page. This page will consist of all major updates to the site and any changes that seem notable. It will also contain future updates or ideas for the site going forward. So far we're considering merchandise sales, as seen through the poll on the home page, and major theme changes. Based off of the poll results, we will most likely choose the top two or three most requested items and start production. A sample of products will be chosen and sold and further feedback will determine the longevity of merchandise sales. We hope to see our loyal fans sporting the SPG look along with other accessories and are super excited about the possibility of new products. Within the next month we will be hosting a giveaway of select merchandise items through a raffle or something similar! Fans who stay tuned to SPG updates and home page announcements might have an opportunity to win a free t-shirt, potato plush toy, hoodie, and more! We've really be enjoying the increasing feedback over the past week and hope to see more as it helps us a ton, so keep it coming!
